Creation
 

Barrio Bool was a part of the Town of Tagbilaran, at its creation sometime in the 1750's during the Spanish regime, then the Municipality of Tagbilaran after the American regime. It turned into Bool District on July 1, 1966 when Tagbilaran became a city by virtue of R.A. 4660.

Vision
 
We envision a progressive barangay with sufficient and stable livelihood; an environment free from hazardous elements to support healthy lifestyle; a strong family ties endeavored by God-fearing, peace loving and law-abiding individuals; more so, a barangay with increasing economic stability reliant from its own responsible inhabitants, guided by an effective and trustworthy officials aware of everybody’s needs.

We, therefore commit to:

  • Provide and maintain good roads and build infrastructure for development;

  • Encourage tree planting and proper waste disposal to keep clean, healthy and ecologically balanced community;

  • Build recreational facilities to promote and sustain sports development activities;

  • Maintain peace and order with voluntary support from the barangay members led by committed transparent governance in pursuit to its mandated goals;

  • Cooperate with the local and national government in its effort to sustain eco-cultural, political and economic growth.
