The barangay is divided into Lower and Upper Cogon. With the Pres. Carlos P. Garcia Avenue as boundary line, Lower Cogon, which is on the west, is flat and plain. It is conducive to commercial establishments as well as residential purposes. Upper Cogon, which is on the east part, is a rolling land.

There are eight (8) puroks with 122 clusters or units in the barangay manned by the elected kagawads including the Punong Barangay.

There are tourist facilities located in the barangay such as Bohol Tropics Resort Club, Hotel La Roca and Coralandia Resort. There are two health centers and one tertiary private hospital.
