Barangay San Isidro has a total population of 4,173. Its land area is 429.42 hectares. Farming is a major agricultural activity.
The city’s Poverty Reduction, Peace and Development Program (PRPDP) and the Local Poverty Reduction Action Planning (LPRAP) has generated an update on the poverty profile of the barangay based on eight indicators namely: child mortality, child malnutrition, crime, food threshold, housing, income threshold, meals, sanitation school drop-outs, tenure status, unemployment, and water.
For San Isidro, a slight plurality of the households is living below the income threshold. Two out of ten are living below the food threshold and income threshold. Plurality does not own the lot on which the house is built. One out of ten households has experienced incidents of crime. The percentage of dropouts is low at seven percent. Few households have houses made of makeshift housing materials. |
